Hey Guys,

I want to congratulate Rick Hamer for finishing 3rd overall in the Eastern Regional tournament. Rick had a very impressive 3 day total of 15 fish for 52- 6 pounds. Rick will go on to represent BNWV as a boater in the BNC.

Also congratulations to Mike Spurlock, Mike finished 7th in the non-boater field and had 7 fish for 24- 7 pounds. Mike will represent BNWV as a non-boater at the BNC.

You can be proud of the WV team they represented the BNWV in an outstanding manner. All of the guys fished hard and Ken and I received a lot of compliments on how well they did and what a pleasure it was for guys to fish with our team.

A big thank you goes out to Jerod Harman, Jerod was the boater alternate but he helped several guys with boat repairs so they could stay on the water.

I also want to thank Ken Hackworth, Ken was the team captain and he ensured the entire team was well informed and that everything was taken care of so they could concentrate on fishing.

Also want to thank our sponsors that supported this team, without them it would be impossible to provide the support we do.

Tim

"Congratulations" & "thank you":

Congratulations to Rick Hamer & Mike Spurlock on advancing to & representing us @ the B.A.S.S. Nation Championship this October! Rick competed @ the Championship as a "Non-Boater" last year & now follows that up as a "Boater" this year. Mike is our reigning State Champion Non-Boater & continued his success @ the Regional.

Congratulations to Bert Collins! Bert was on his 1st State Team and received a check for his 8th Place overall finish among Non-Boaters!

Congratulations and thank you to all of our State Team members on the manner in which you represented us on & off the water! It's been my privilege & I'm proud I had the opportunity to assist you.

Thank you to our Conservation Director & Boater-Alternate, Jerod Harman! Jerod was our 1-man Service Crew and his expertise kept some guys in the game.

Thank you to Alex Goff, our Non-Boater-Alternate! Alex was @ the Launch every morning ready to help the Team if called upon.

And, thank you to our Sponsors:
State Sponsors: KS Contracting, RigidPly Rafters, Menas’s Mobile Foods LLC, Par Mar Stores, Rimpull Dart, T-NA Tiefenbach, WV Oil & Natural Gas Assoc., Swanson Ind., Express One Del Svc. LLC, Cummins Crosspoint & SolarBat.

Congrats to both Rick and Mike, and the entire WV team for a respectable finish. Rick is starting to become a regular top finisher at these events, and with that comes a certain amount of ability to preform well on a bigger stage! Great job man, and good luck at the nationals.
